Hi all,
I am new here and trying to figure out how to export a flight plan to other devices like a Garmin 430, and Aera 660, or, into Foreflight on an iPhone or iPad. It is the simple things in life that cause me the most trouble. Even a .csv export might work?

Thank you.

Thanks for your post! We're always happy to help.

The first step is to plan a flight, which you can do in our Trip Manager. Simply enter your departure, destination, and any other flight details, then click the green "Plan Flight" button. Your planned flight will appear on the map. Now, click "Nav Log" at the top of the screen. In the Nav Log, you'll see the "EXPORT TO" options as shown in the attached screenshot. These same links are also available on the "Docs" tab in the Trip Manager.

For the Garmin 430 you'll want to use the FPL format. GFP is the newer Garmin format. For both of those file types, you'll want to save those to an SD card that can be plugged into your Garmin devices in the aircraft, which will allow you to load the flight plan.

For your iPad, we recommend downloading iFlightPlanner for iPad from the App Store. All of your account info and flights planned on iFlightPlanner.com will be automatically synced to your device with a single tap. iFlightPlanner for iPad is a full-featured EFB (electronic flight bag), including airport reference, GPS moving map, ADS-B integration, and much more. We are working on iFlightPlanner for iPhone as well!

Certainly let us know if we can help further!
