Attempted to update my forum profile after logging in and get a message that says "User already exists."

Hi Scott,

Thanks for your post. We're always happy to help and welcome our members to begin using the new Forum to communicate any questions, comments or concerns to us!

We have investigated and corrected the profile saving issue. In addition, we were able to add the ability for you to modify your forum user name as well (this capability was previously disabled). Changing your Forum user name will simply change the display name that visitors will see next to your posts. It won't change the User ID you use to sign into iFlightPlanner.com and iFlightPlanner for iPad.

Nearly all of the software that makes iFlightPlanner possible is written in-house. However, in the case of the new Forum, we did use a third party piece of software that we are evaluating. So thanks for understanding while we work out a couple of the kinks!
