I have downloaded the latest app and sectionals. However, when I select sectional from the map overlay, I see street map and not the sectional. TAC and low IFR work just fine. I have not download the world map.

Also, why is the IFR Low charts in low resolution? When I zoom in or normal view the charts are not digital but look like scanned paper charts at low resolution?

What am I doing wrong here. Using an Ipad Air.

Thanks for your post!

It sounds like you may still have iFlightPlanner for iPad v2.0.2. On Wednesday, we released v2.1, which included a switch in the Sectional chart file format, effective with the new FAA data cycle on Thursday, May 1 at 9:01Z.

Most of our members have their iPads set to automatically update apps when new versions become available on the App Store, but you may not have that setting enabled. Simply head to the App Store and look for the updates section to see iFlightPlanner for iPad v2.1 is waiting to be installed.

You can also tell if you have v2.1 by tapping Explore Maps from the Home or Flights tab, then tapping the Layers button at the upper right. If you see the new Range Rings or Runway Extension options there, you have v2.1.

If you don't have v2.1 yet, go ahead and update the app via the App Store Updates tab. That should take care of the issue. If you do already have v2.1 and are still experiencing the issue, please let us know and we'll investigate further!
