After taking the time to build a flight plan - it would be really nice to be able to create a reverse (go home) flight plan based on an existing flight plan.
My Garmin 420W provides this feature - your website would allow to file and get weather as well.

Thanks for the good work!

You can! From your list of Open Flights, or anytime via www.iFlightPlanner.com/My/Flights, simply click the green, u-turn arrow...

This will direct you to the start of the Flight Wizard with your reversed route already pre-filled. You'll just input your departure time, select your desired altitude and work your way through the rest of the Flight Wizard to retrieve your certified weather brief for that flight, calculate weight & balance and file the flight plan!

You can also select the "Reverse Route" option from the end of the Flight Wizard where you can input a stop-over time and iFlightPlanner will input your departure time based on your ETA of the original flight, plus your stop-over.

Let us know if that's what you were looking for Ralph!

Best,
Andy

I was actually looking for it in the "Favorite Routes" section so I can pre-plan. Once I open a flight plan - I'll leave the computer behind as I'm flying, not computing...and there isn't an Android App yet.

Hi Ralph,

We do not currently have a Reverse Route button in the Favorite Routes functionality, but would certainly be happy to look into doing so.

In the meantime, here's a fairly easy workaround you could use:

1. Create a Favorite Route for the outbound flight leg.
2. Plan a flight with that Favorite Route via the Flight Wizard, skipping the Weather Brief and Filing steps.
3. At the end of the Flight Wizard, use the Reverse Route feature, which will return you to the first step of the Flight Wizard with the reverse route already filled in.
4. Click "Save as Favorite Route" to save the reversed route.

As always, we welcome your feedback on additional features you would like to see!
