U.S. aviation fuel prices delivered a split performance in June, as JET A prices declined while several piston-fuel categories climbed across the country.
National JET A Full Service averaged $7.63 in June, representing a decrease of $0.43 (-5.4%) compared to May. Excluding Alaska and Hawaii, Lower-48 JET A Full Service averaged $7.54, down $0.43 (-5.4%) compared to May.
National 100LL pricing was mixed in June. 100LL Full Service averaged $7.47, a decrease of $0.02 (-0.3%) compared to May, while 100LL Self Service averaged $6.42, up $0.09 (1.4%), reflecting an approximate 14% savings where self-serve options are available.
UL94 Self Service averaged $7.41, up $0.12 (1.6%) in June, while MOGAS averaged $5.48, up $0.12 (2.3%), with both fuels continuing to show limited and highly regional availability nationwide.

Over the past six months, national aviation fuel prices remained elevated following a sharp spring increase. National JET A Full Service rose from $6.30 in January 2026 to $7.63 in June 2026, an increase of $1.33 (21.1%), while national 100LL Full Service increased from $6.37 to $7.47, an increase of $1.10 (17.3%). After modest increases in January and February, both fuel types moved sharply higher beginning in March amid developments in the Middle East. JET A climbed from $6.41 in February to $7.64 in March, reached a six-month high of $8.07 in May, then eased to $7.63 in June. 100LL followed a similar trajectory, rising to $7.49 in May before edging lower to $7.47 in June.
