I'm Matt McDonald, an active CFI in the Inyokern, CA area. I work as an independent instructor in a variety of roles to include: tail-wheel, high performance, complex, insurance checkouts, T.A.A., glass cockpits, primary, formation, IPCs, and BFR's.
I am experienced in a wide variety of GA aircraft, specifically the PA-24 Comanche. I am a registered International Comanche Society instructor. I'm currently serving as a Naval Aviator flying a variety of F/A-18 Super Hornets for the Navy, based at NAWS China Lake, CA.
My qualifications include:
11 yr CFII / Professional Pilot / 15 years GA experience/ Aviation Safety Officer School Graduate / Tail-hook Association / 10 year NAFI
