My name is Ethan Galaz. I am from Huntington Beach, CA. I am an FAA-certificated instrument single- and multi-engine flight instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI) and a magna cum laude graduate from San Jose State’s Aviation program.
While at SJSU, I served as Co-Captain of our NIFA Flight Team, competing against aviation colleges nationwide. I began my own flight training in 2018 at age 16, so I understand firsthand what it’s like to be a student navigating this daunting process.
Since then, I’ve accumulated hundreds of flight hours and earned 7 certificates from Private Pilot through Multi-Engine Flight Instructor. I have led each of my students to a first-time checkride pass. I have also been selected to fly the C-130 in the United States Air Force.
I’m passionate about teaching my students leadership, safety, and strong aeronautical decision-making skills. These attributes separate pilots and make them more attractive to future employers.
