Before becoming an Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, and CFI-I), I spent 30 years teaching calculus, differential equations, number theory, algebra, and geometry at a local high school. In addition to a long career in teaching, I was an aeronautical engineer designing control systems for communications satellites.
