Tim "Benny" Benham
Flight Instructor (CFI / CFI-I / MEI / Tailwheel / 9200+ hours)
Benny is a former US Navy Fighter Pilot. During his time in the Navy he was an instructor in the F-14 Tomcat and is a graduate of both the Navy’s TOPGUN school as an Adversary Pilot and Aviation Safety School. In addition to the Tomcat, he has experience flying several different aircraft including the T-34C, T-2C, TA-4J, T-45, Beechcraft King Air (B-200) and A-36 and V/K-35 Bonanzas, Cessnas from C-150 through C-210, Pipers from Cherokees through Saratogas and Aeronca Champs/L-16s. He holds CFI Single Engine Land, CFI Instrument, and Multi Engine Instructor Certifications, and is certified as a Commercial Pilot in both Multi Engine Land and Single Engine Seaplane aircraft. Benny is a member of the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).
