Tizi is an FAA Master Flight Instructor in the Greater Savannah Area. Tizi was trained at Florida Tech (KMLB), GARMIN in the midwest (KOJC), and Savannah Aviation (KSAV). He holds CFI/CFII, CPL SEL/MEL, Cirrus Training Center Instructor (TCI), and IGI ratings.
Tizi strives to provide a more in-depth and technical education. A graduate of Florida Tech, his background is in engineering, with degrees in aerospace engineering (B.S.), flight test engineering (M.S.), and cognitive engineering (Ph.D.). His flight test and doctoral education is focused on flight operations, avionics systems design & evaluation, and cognitive engineering.
Tizi's main area of expertise is primary, advanced instrument, and avionics/flight deck training, but he also has experience in formation flying and aerobatics.
