Waypoint names (labels) are not retained when exporting into files but converted into sequenced labels prefixed by LL.
Is there a workaround?
Thanks.

After quick review, I believe you're referring to Custom User Waypoints you have created on iFlightPlanner and how they are exported to the GPX format. Those are currently being converted to LL001, LL002, etc. We have just updated the GPX export functionality to retain your Custom User Waypoint names. This update will go live on iFlightPlanner.com as part of our next version, which we believe will be released this week.

In the meantime, we can't think of an overly useful or efficient workaround that we can think of. The only possible one is for you to manually edit the GPX file after you receive it, but we wouldn't recommend spending your time on that!

Thanks for your question! Please let us know if any of our assumptions about the functionality you were referring to are incorrect!

Hi Benno,

Just wanted to let you know the updated GPX export feature went live this morning. So your waypoints will now show the Custom Waypoint name rather than LL001, LL002, etc.

Thanks for your continued support of iFlightPlanner!
