Saved ICAO IFR flight plan defaults Messages in this topic - RSS

I am having a recurring issue where the saved ICAO IFR flight plan defaults disappear while working on finalizing a flight. I frequently bounce back and forth from IFP.com to iPad for IFP when working on planning an IFR flight. Today I was working on a flight with some practice approaches and just when I went to file my flight plan on IFP for iPad I noticed that all the defaults that were showing up earlier were gone. Like a blank plan. It has happened before on several occasions.

Ideas?

Hi Dave,

We had a couple reports of this from another member and I'm confident we've fixed the issue. We'll send you an updated copy of the v3.0 beta this afternoon for you to install. Thanks as always for letting us know!

Yes, the copy I'll send you this afternoon is technically v3.0.010. I think you have v3.0.003 right now. So, both v3.0, but this will include a number of additional updates and fixes!

Does anyone know a site that displays the ICAO IFR Flight Plan format that I can print out?

Try this. Updated 5/2017

https://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ato/service_units/systemops/fs/res_links/media/ICAO_Flight_Plan_Filing.pdf

However IFP has it built into the APP and filing is a breeze.

Bob,

FAA Form 7233-4 (International Flight Plan) can be downloaded and printed at https://iacra.faa.gov/iacra/faa7233-4.pdf.

It is referenced in the opening paragraph of the PDF that Dave posted, and as he mentioned, we're set to go with ICAO filing! Head to https://www.iFlightPlanner.com/My/Aircraft, click Edit for the aircraft you would like to view, and navigate to the ICAO Flight Plan Filing tab to make any changes.
