I have asked this before so this is just following up in the forum. IFlight Planner gets us a response when our flight plan has been filed with FAA. What is the progress on pilots getting notified (ie, email), on the actual approved flight route from the FAA. This can save pilots time by allowing them to load information ahead of time instead of waiting for clearance info. Since your competitors already have this capability, I am not sure why this would be an issue for you to add. Thanks

Hi Howard,

Our apologies for the delay in response. This is a feature we have been working on and wanted to wrap up a bit more research before getting back to you. We have confirmed two potentially viable approaches to making this feature a reality. Over the next few days, we'll vet both options and make a final plan for implementation.

I have added your name to our development list so that we may contact you directly when the feature is complete and available for use.

Thanks for your continued support of iFlightPlanner!

Hi Howard,

I just wanted to follow up on your message. On Monday, we released an updated version of iFlightPlanner.com. As part of this update, the flight plan acknowledgment feature was enhanced. For IFR flight plans, you will now receive a notification when your flight plan is flied as well as a notification when ATC makes any changes to your route. If you're original flight plan is cleared as filed, you won't receive any additional notifications beyond the filing confirmation.

This feature was made possible by CSC DUATS, who provides our underlying flight plan filing capabilities, so we thank them for their support!
